Why Cenizo?
The Cenizo plant (leucophyllum frutescens) is one of the most resilient flowering shrubs of the American Southwest and Mexico. It is a pollinator with silvery foliage and bell-shaped flowers which can be used medicinally. According to legend, it miraculously sprouted after repeated spiritual petitions during a long period of drought and brought rain to the Far West Texas desert.
Like Cenizo, my offerings are part of a practice built over many years, grounded in cultivating resilience, creating spaciousness, and building energetic ecosystems that can sustain us in our daily lives.
